What are the modules of SAP and How to Chose your Module ?
If you want to pursue a career in SAP but you are not sure which
SAP module to choose, this will help you.
There are three important things you should consider before selecting your SAP
module:
1.
Your
educational background: your
educational background makes it easier for you to understand the business
processes. As a consultant, you will hear a great deal of business terms and
concepts. So, it helps a lot if you already know all the basics.
2.
Your
work experience: For example, a person who has
worked as a purchase manager should choose MM. A person who has worked in a
factory and is familiar with the production process should opt for PP or MM. Benefiting
from your work experience can definitely help you excel as an SAP consultant.
3. Your career goals: Ask yourself whether you want a career in SAP or just a job. Define your goals and make sure that you enjoy what you are doing to keep motivated.
To choose right, you need to know about the modules first. It’s important to note that SAP has 25 modules and adding. However, not all these modules are implemented at once. Every company chooses only the modules that best suit its business requirements.
