What is Hybris?


Hybris is a German company, acquired by SAP in 2013, which sells a group of cloud products that offer E-commerce, Marketing, Sales and Service software solutions. These solutions are designed to deliver an exceptional customer experience and help companies cut cost, save time and reduce complexity. SAP has integrated its own premise system (SAP CRM and SAP ERP) with the Hybris solution. This means that companies that already have SAP ERP or SAP CRM can easily migrate to the SAP Hybris solution. The main products that the Hybris solutions provide are:

1.   Commerce Cloud

Commerce Cloud is used to increase an organization's agility by using a single digital platform. It includes configurable dashboards that allow users to manage their e-commerce operations, including product content on an e-commerce site or real-time data about inventory levels. You can, for example, manage the items that appear on a site based on customer search activity. It helps understand what the customer wants and to turn visitors into buyers.

2.   Marketing Cloud

It helps organizations consolidate all relevant customer data and build enriched customer profiles as well as perform audience discovery, targeting, and segmentation accurately at high speeds with multichannel marketing solutions. Moreover, it can be used to gain deeper insights with machine learning to identify the best audiences and experiences for individual customers.

3.   Sales Cloud

It includes products for Sales Automation and Forecast Optimization, Sales Performance Management, Quotes and Contracts, Billing and Revenue Management, and Sales Augmented Intelligence. It offers organizations a number of benefits that help improve their sales experience like:

·         mobile online and offline capabilities

4.   Service Cloud

The SAP Service Cloud portfolio brings a unified and seamless customer service experience to customers through whatever channels they choose to use. It includes products for omnichannel call center, proactive field service, and comprehensive self-service.  Its benefits include:

5.   Customer Data Cloud

SAP Customer Data Cloud solutions include the SAP Customer Identity, SAP Customer Consent and SAP Customer Profile solutions. It provides consumers with more transparency and control over how their personal data is used in online or E-commerce interactions. The application is intended to help companies meet regional consumer privacy laws requirements (including GDPR) for transparency and control of personal data online.
